At ChampionX, we know our success is dependent on the success and fulfillment of our people, so we prioritize the creation of safe environments where colleagues are respected, valued, and seen for who they are as individuals. Our Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Council is chaired by our CEO. Nine employee resource groups (ERGs) foster a sense of belonging across cultures, experiences, backgrounds, and ethnicities. Here, diversity and inclusion are more than buzzwords – they are a fundamental strength and essential cultural aspect of our company.

Employee Resource Groups 

With more than 1,000 members from every business segment and in every region where we operate, our nine employee resource groups provide opportunities for advancing our D&I journey, building leadership skills, training, networking with colleagues, and much more.

Our Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Council includes senior leaders from across our businesses and rotating employee resource group (ERG) leaders. Headed by our CEO, the council is tasked with:  

  • Developing, enhancing, and integrating D&I activities with ChampionX’s overall business strategy and objectives 
  • Working with leadership and employees to institutionalize talent, total rewards, and employee relations practices that support and accelerate D&I
  • Monitoring and tracking progress of D&I objectives and targets 
  • Championing D&I and promoting company-wide communication on progress   

We view collaboration and relationship building as keys to success and give employees the tools, resources, and support they need to unlock their potential and drive their careers. Partnerships with ALLY Energy, Women’s Energy Network, and the Energy Workforce & Technology Council provide opportunities for ChampionX employees to learn, grow, and network.   

At ChampionX, we are empowered and driven by the continual pursuit of excellence, keeping us curious, humble, and always learning. Each year we dedicate a full month to highlighting and enhancing personal and professional development. Our annual Continuous Improvement conference connects our purpose Improving Lives to our business. And throughout the year, leadership development programs and instructor-led behavioral training equip employees to unlock the potential in themselves and each other.
