Edith Ugwumba, District Representative

Edith Ugwumba, one of our district representatives, is based in Perth, Australia. She came to us to fill a position as a technical service specialist three years ago, and has since then moved up into two different positions. Prior to her career at ChampionX, Edith was pursuing a postgraduate degree, but came to understand how she would be able to continue her research as part of ChampionX. “ChampionX has actually unlocked the potential in me,” she said, “by giving me access to a lot of development programs and platforms for professional development.”
In helping our employees establish their professional development goals, we endorse a 70-20-10 rule: that seventy percent of a plan should be on-the-job training, twenty percent mentoring, and ten percent classes and other educational opportunities. Through establishing these goals, we are better able to help our employees find the resources and, when available, open positions, that will support their growth.
