Chemistry Spotlight - Sutthipas Sutthipassakunthon

Sutthipas Sutthipassakunthon, district sales manager for Thailand and Vietnam, has always been a strong advocate for our company’s purpose of Improving Lives. Starting his career as a quality assurance production engineer, he soon progressed to sales roles at major oilfield service companies and has been with ChampionX for 12 years in various roles within southeast Asia. In his current role, Sutthipas thrives on delivering new solutions for clients to help improve their productivity.

“I balance relationships with customers, distributors, partners, and colleagues to ensure all projects run safely and smoothly and we gain the results our customers expect. We are continuously improving our service to support customers’ evolving needs while also supporting more sustainable operations,” said Sutthipas.

As an active member of our Sustainable Energy Empowers Development (SEED) employee resource group, Sutthipas is passionate about improving the communities we operate in. In 2022, he led our Thailand team in a local beach cleanup and organized a donation to a local orphanage to improve the lives of those within the local area.

“One of the reasons I’m so enthusiastic about my work at ChampionX is our collective purpose of Improving Lives through our chemical technologies. I’m excited to be attending the International Petroleum Technology Conference (next month, where we’ll discuss our latest innovations with our customers and connect with new people.”
