AFFIRMED PowerFit Motor
Get All The Power With None Of The Risk
Small-diameter wells provide greater wellbore stability and save you time and money during the drilling and completion phase of your operations. But, when you need to produce those wells with ESP systems, you’ve been forced to make a trade off – horsepower or space.
NOW YOU DON'T HAVE TO CHOOSE.

Get all the power with none of the risk

Prolong the life of your ESP

Get all the power you need

Keep your operations simple
Space or power… Nobody likes to settle.
Now you don’t have to.
The AFFIRMED™ PowerFit motor is specifically designed to easily fit in wells completed with 5 ½-in. 23 lb and 20 lb casing–and even leave room for capillary tubing–while reliably delivering the power you need to meet your production goals.
Space or power… Nobody likes to settle.
Now you don’t have to.
In small-diameter wells traditional 4.56-in. OD ESP motors require modifications and can still get stuck. 3.75-in. OD motors don’t deliver enough horsepower. And, both introduce potential reliability concerns. The AFFIRMED PowerFit motor is built to give you all the horsepower you need with none of the reliability risks.
Space or power… Nobody likes to settle.
Now you don’t have to.
The AFFIRMED PowerFit motor has a 400˚F (204˚C) operating temperature, which is more than adequate for typical unconventional wells. This operating temperature also allows you to more effectively handle gas slugs common in unconventional wells without overheating the motor.

- Achieve your production rate with one 208 HP motor vs. three 3.75-in. motors
- Get comparable HP as a 4.56-in. motor without the risk of getting the ESP stuck in the well
- Eliminate modifications necessary with 4.56-in. motors
- Prevent erosion from sand entrained in the fluid
- Allow space for a chemical injection line past the motor
- Eliminate reliability issues associated with triple-tandem 3.75-in. motors
- Uses the same surface control system
- Requires no special HSE, installation, or operating procedures
- Follows standard assembly, installation, pull, dismantle, and testing processes
We make it easy to produce your small-diameter wells
The AFFIRMED PowerFit motor features an advanced electromagnetic design and is the industry’s only submersible motor designed for 5½-in, 23 lb and 20 lb wells.
Enhanced electromagnetic design
- Maximizes horsepower output
- Ensures uniform flux density
- Balances electric loading vs. magnetic loading
- Improves thermal efficiency to lower internal motor temperature

Tested in the lab and in the field
Based on extensive laboratory testing to validate the motor design and field trials in a variety of applications, you can depend on the AFFIRMED PowerFit motor to deliver the winning combination of power and reliability for your unconventional wells.
- ~2,000 cumulative run days during field trials
- Laboratory testing validated FEA modeling and design goals
- Proved flat 82.5% efficiency curve from 50% to 100% load
