Our subsurface sucker rod pump accessories are available in various metallurgies and can be applied in the most challenging well conditions. Adding an accessory allows each rod pump to be customized to meet your operational needs.
Our polished rods are manufactured, machined, ground, and polished to conform to API and ChampionX Artificial Lift specifications.
- Piston Steel
- Made from cold drawn 1045 carbon steel with a minimum tensile strength of 100,000 psi
- Recommended for moderate-to-heavy loads without abrasion and corrosion concerns
- Nickel Moly
- Machined from cold drawn 4140 nickel alloy steel with a minimum tensile strength of 100,000 psi
- Recommended for moderate-to-heavy loads under mildly corrosive conditions
- Tuffr™ polished rod
- Made from 1045 piston steel with a minimum tensile strength of 100,000 psi
- HRC 60 sprayed metal surface applied to the outside diameter
- Recommended for abrasive and corrosive conditions under moderate-to-heavy loads
- XM-19 Nitronic 50 Stainless Steel
- Superior corrosion resistance to 304SS
- Minimum tensile strength of 135,000 psi
- 304 Stainless Steel
- Minimum tensile strength of 75,000 psi
- Recommended for moderate loads under all corrosive conditions when abrasion is not a factor
- Polished Rod Liners
- One-piece, integral pack-off assembly for economy and efficiency
- Installs over the polished rod to provide a hard, sprayed metal, and smooth wearing surface
- Worn liners can be exchanged without the use of a service rig
- Available in steel and stainless steel, hard surfaced
We offer sucker rod, polished rod, and combination couplings; all are manufactured to the strictest design standards and conform to API specifications.
- Available in slim-hole and full-size diameters
- Manufactured in two grades:
- H-F Class T sucker rod couplings
- API Class T couplings with a hardness of HRC 16-23
- Recommended for mildly corrosive and mildly abrasive pumping conditions
- H-F Tuffr® Couplings
- Conform to API SM sucker rod coupling specifications
- Recommended for corrosive and abrasive pumping conditions
- Sprayed metal surface hardness is HRC 58-62
- H-F Class T sucker rod couplings
The ends are machined perpendicular to the through hole to ensure that the polished rod load does not impart a side load to the polished rod.
- HF Model 40 Polished Rod Clamp
- A rugged, one-piece clamp for use in deep wells
- Rated for 40,000 pounds maximum working load
- HF Model 25 Polished Rod Clamp
- A one-bolt clamp for intermediate depth wells
- Rated to 25,000 pounds maximum working load
- HF Model 13 Polished Rod Clamp
- A one-bolt clamp designed for shallow wells
- Less than 13,000 pounds maximum working load
- HF Model 13-D and Model 13-T Polished Rod Clamps
- High load variations available using the Model 13 clamp
- The Model 13-D consists of two Model 13 clamps assembled in series to provide a 26,000 pounds maximum working load
- Three Model 13 clamps are factory assembled in series to make the Model 13-T Clamp
- Rated to 40,000 pounds maximum working load
- Sucker Rod Guides
- Harbison-Fischer spiral sucker rod guides
- A centralizer and stabilizer for any insert pump
- Minimizes wear on valve rods and pull tubes
- Beneficial on long-stroke units
- Available in all sucker rod sizes and tubing sizes
- Flexite™ sucker rod guide
- Hard Flexite® wear surface in most sucker rod and tubing sizes
- Sucker rod guides are available in nylon, rubber, or high-temperature versions and easily clip onto the sucker rod
- Harbison-Fischer spiral sucker rod guides
- Tubing Test Valve
- Valve can be used for multiple tests
- Can be dropped into the tubing or lowered on a wire line to seat in a seating nipple for tubing testing operations
- Provides a positive check valve seal that releases pressure before unseating by pulling upward on a fishing neck latch at the top of the tool
- Sinker Bars
- Used to overcome problems with compressive loads at the bottom of rod strings
- Manufactured from 1042 and 4623 piston steel and come with sucker rod pins for a dependable makeup connection
- Another option for stuck pumps in a stripper well
- Pump Anchor
- Used to anchor an insert pump in a well without a seating nipple or with variable fluid levels that require different seating depths
- The tool can be run and set repeatedly without damage to the rubber-packing element and is released by lifting upward on the sucker rod string
- On-off Tool
- A dependable means of connecting and disconnecting sucker rods from the sucker rod pump
- Allows you to run over-sized pumps in tubing
- Used to disconnect the rods above a stuck pump, eliminating a rod stripping job
- Available in both right- and left-hand release, as well as corrosion-resistant materials for tubing or casing sizes ranging from 1.9-in. through 7 ½-in.
- Bottom Discharge Valve
- Used in standard, bottom hold-down rod insert pumps and produces a portion of the fluid through ports just above the standing valve
- Keeps fluid between the pump and tubing in motion and prevents sand from settling above the seating nipple
- Allows you to chemically treat bottom hold down pumps
- Brush Sand Seal
- A simple add-on attached directly below the fluid discharge flute
- Cost-effective way to minimize sediment buildup, preventing sediment from settling above the seating nipple
- Helps eliminate stripping jobs on bottom hold down pumps
- High Flow Back Pressure Regulator
- Resistant to washout for flow rates up to up to 2,000 BPD
- Fully NACE compliant
- Resistant to corrosion, including mesa attack
- Provides reliable back-side pressure to reduce gas breakout
Brush Sand Seal
Increase your bottom line and reduce your well stripping jobs
Installing our patented Brush Sand Seal accessory to your pump is a cost-effective way to minimize sediment buildup, which helps increase the overall chance of unseating your bottom hold-down pump when your well needs service.
