Resilient seated lug style
Norris resilient seated lug butterfly valves are used in applications up to 285 pounds of working pressure (150 ANSI) and are lighter and more cost-effective than metal seated options. Their unique sealing design is field proven to provide longer seat life than comparable resilient seated lug designs. Specific advantages of the lug style include the ability to perform maintenance on a valve without removal from a line, suitable for dead-end service, and typically preferred in larger sizes and higher-pressure applications.
