The leader in downhole pressure

Quartzdyne Pressure Sensors

Since 1990, Quartzdyne has designed and manufactured the industry-standard quartz pressure transducer for the downhole oil and gas industry. Our sensors are world-renowned for providing accurate, low drift, high resolution data in the most extreme conditions.  Typical calibrations can result in less than ±1.0 psi in error for a 10 kpsi transducer across the calibrated temperature range.

We are ISO 9001 certified as a company, and our facility is certified as a green building.

02

For drilling

Quartzdyne pressure transducers are used in many different ways related to oil and gas drilling. MWD (measurements while drilling), PWD (pressure while drilling), DST (drill stem testing) and LWD (logging while drilling) applications will all benefit from the high precision of quartz.

For production logging

As a quartz pressure transducer supplier, our advanced expertise and experience with quartz crystal technology enable us to provide high-quality transducers with minimal drift at the high temperatures and pressures often found in oil and gas wells. Applications such as Memory Tools, Repeat Formation Testers, Production Logging Tools, and Wireline/Geological Logging Tools all benefit from the high sensitivity, high stability, high resolution, and fast response time these gauges provide.

Quartzdyne culture

Quartzdyne is a strong culture of problem solvers. This starts with a foundation of great values and striving for excellence through Individual daily kaizen.  We see ourselves as leaders looking to improve the lives of those we serve through our business and in the community.  These attributes enable us to build the most stable, rugged pressure sensors in the world.  We also enjoy living and working in the beautiful Wasatch Front in Salt Lake City, Utah.
