Electric SmartStep™ Control Valve Solution
The Norriseal control valve with an Electric SmartStep actuator offers a failsafe method to electric actuation and mounts to any of Norriseal’s 2200, 2400 and 2700 Series control valves. The solution is composed of a rotary electric actuator, a rotary to linear adapter, and Norriseal’s
best-in-class linear stem control valve.
- Available in 1” and 2” sizes NPT and flanged
- ANSI ratings from 150# to 2500#
- Fail-safe power backup option with capacitor technology eliminates the need for battery backup in case of a loss of power or control signal — it enables the valve to return to a preset safe position
- Ability to use digital on/off signal from switches or 4-20mA analog signal for throttling capabilities
- High-efficiency rotary-to-linear valve adapter kit
- Emissions free and environmentally friendly
- Cycle time on 5/8” travel is faster than other comparable electric offerings
- Field proven design with electric compressor or production equipment skids
- UL/CUL and CE approved with Class 1, Division II, Group A, B, C, and D Hazardous location rating
