Supply of Offshore Tanks and Pallet Boxes

 

ChampionX Guyana, Inc. invites prospective bidders to submit proposals to supply offshore tanks and pallet boxes for the haulage of liquid cargo and equipment.

Interested bidders are to submit your company details, contact information, bids, and valid company registrations to the email address below. If winning bidders are not established as a supplier within the ChampionX supplier network, a formal registration process will commence with the procurement team to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.

Company will be evaluated in categories of historical experience, operational capacity, speed to market, local content, and cost.

Company Requirements:

  • Company to be registered with CLBD and/or Local Content Secretariat
  • Company must support the necessary requirements of the Local Content Act of 2021
  • Must have a physical yard in Guyana capable of providing necessary inspection services in accordance with DNV, UN, and/or other international standards.
  • Must reply to this bid within 2 weeks of posting, Closes October 27, 2023
  • Response to bid via email must be titled: RFQ Offshore Tanks “COMPANY NAME”

 

Job Requirements:

  • See pages 2 - 4 for detailed information on types and quantities of equipment
  • This is a 2-part quotation 
    • Daily Tank Rental
    • Maintenance Services
  • All 25 BBL tank internals will be of 316 Stainless Steel and must have DNV frames
  • All 550 tank internals will be of 304 Stainless Steel and must have DNV frames and slings
  • All Pallet boxes will be of galvanized exterior
  • All maintenance and inspections services will be completed in Guyana
  • Equipment should be delivered no later than February 2024 and quoted under DDU incoterms for a period no less than 4 years, with an option to extend 2 more years (4+1+1)

PART 1 requests a quote for daily tank rental rate for a 4-year term with the ability to extend the contract for an additional 2-year term.

  • Bidder should specify lead time to deliver tanks to Georgetown.
  • Delivery terms: DDU Georgetown Guyana
  • Reference Appendix A for equipment specifications.
  • Quotes are expected back within 14 days.
  • Quote must be inclusive of New Tank Pull Test and magnetic Particle Inspection Certificate

 

Additional tanks requested to augment CHAMPIONX fleet can be added during the terms of the contract at agreed to contract rates with minimum lease period of 1 year.

PART 2 is the service aspect of the contract. Quote is for:

  • tank parts including but not limited to valve parts, vent caps, gaskets,
  • labor rates for tank repairs
  • inspection costs for 6-month visual (frame and sling)
  • 1-year magnetic particle test for frame, sling, and shackle
  • 2.5-year leak test as stipulated by UN/IMDG regulations
  • 5-year hydrostatic test as stipulated by UN/IMDG regulations
  • 4-year frame test as stipulated by DNV 2.71/EN12079 requirements
  • Tank cleaning

 

The supplier will stipulate whether these services are provided in-house or outsourced to a third party. If any of the above tests are an outsourced service, Bidder to stipulate % outlay fee applied. If inspection rates are hourly – the bidder to provide an estimate of the time required to complete the test on a per tank basis and advise lead time to complete requested tests

Part 1: Equipment Rental. Reference Appendix A for specifications.

  1. 4 EA - Double tall / pallet boxes (capable of fitting 2 – 1000 L IBC Totes with shelf installed) with slings.
  2. 8 EA – Mini container pallet boxes with slings
  3. 15 EA – 5000 L offshore UN Portable Tank T11 – T7 with rectangular frame meeting DNV 2.71 EN12079 with slings. Must be 316 SS, have Teflon gaskets where applicable.
  4. 37 EA - 2081L/ 550 Gal. offshore UN Portable Tanks with rectangular frame meeting DNV 2.71 EN12079 with slings. Must be 304 SS, Have Teflon Manlid gasket (opposed to rubber)

 

Part 2 Services:

Quote using the table as outlined in Appendix B. The table should be categorized by equipment type such, Offshore Tank Sizes, require a 2.5 year or 5.0-year leak or hydro test.

Award of business is contingent upon field performance and selected treatment fluid volumes. This is an unbundled bid. CHAMPIONX reserves the right to award either all or part of the bid independently.
