Our research has highlighted that synergistic combinations of kinetic asphaltene inhibitors with the right concentrations of selected dispersants effectively tune the size of asphaltene agglomerates and minimize deposition. ChampionX asphaltene control products are precision-engineered to target the most insoluble asphaltene fractions, withstanding varying conditions, including changes in pressure, temperature, shear, and chemical environment, to unlock their high-performance potential. This empowers operators to sustain peak production rates even in conditions conducive to asphaltene deposition.

Our asphaltene dissolvers are engineered to efficiently and effectively soften and dissolve deposits to optimize production and reduce project costs. Our range of aromatic solvents are expertly tailored for the effective removal of asphaltene deposits. These solvents not only serve as a solution for addressing existing deposits but can also be seamlessly integrated into a tailored program to help prevent reoccurring and future issues.

We have developed a series of field-relevant testing processes to address precipitation, agglomeration and deposition control. Our Micro-Reactor, Asphaltene Rocking Cell and Flow Loop methods test the presence of different chemicals to provide a qualitative, real time deposition risk prediction during test runs. Results support the selection of the correct and most effective chemicals to treat each scenario, effectively optimizing your chemical supply.
